👷‍♀️ PCL is developing new programs to address the shortage of skilled workers in the industry. The company is basing the programs on feedback received from apprentices through surveys. The new programs aim to improve both attracting and retaining apprentices by providing them with more support, including mentorship, financial assistance, and leadership training. PCL is also working to promote skilled trades careers to young people and underrepresented groups.

🔥The Calgary Construction Association (CCA) commended the Calgary Fire Department (CFD) and city officials for working together to revise its “hot works” ban following feedback from the industry.
